Saturday 4th May: 5.30pm.
Hear Alex Woodcock, author of King of Dust, talk about his stonemason’s journey, from academia to carving stone, and the redemptive power of the Romanesque.
In this conversation with Little Toller’s Jon Woolcott, Alex will talk about his love affair with medieval art and how it changed his life. He’ll talk about the years wandering the landscapes of southern England in search of this powerful artform and the importance of the handmade.
This event is being run by our good friends at the Yellow Lighted Bookshop, as part of their Tetbury Big Book Weekend. The event will be held in the Tetbury Goods Shed. Tickets are available from the organiser’s website, below.
