DESCRIPTION:An Audience with Richard Mabey will be held on Saturday 13th November at Selborne Village Hall\, an event designed as a Q&A session with ‘Britain’s greatest living nature writer’. \n  \nRichard Mabey is author of some forty books including Flora Britannica\, Food for Free and the Whitbread Prize winning biography of Gilbert White. The evening will also be the launch event for The Richard Mabey Library\, the re-publication of four of Mabey’s principal works by specialist publisher Little Toller\, to mark Richard’s 80th Birthday. \n  \nThe audience in Selborne Village Hall will have the opportunity to put questions to Richard who will appear from his home in Norfolk via live video link. The event will also be streamed to a national audience. \n  \nTickets are available on a first-come\, first-served basis and cost £12\, £10 if you are a Friend of Selborne Common (there will be no tickets available on the door). \n  \nThe event\, organised by the Selborne Local Committee of the National Trust\, begins at 7.30 pm with drinks available at the bar from 7.00 pm onwards.
