2. Contract Formation (Order Acceptance)
When you place an order on our website, you will receive an automated order acknowledgement email. This email serves strictly as a receipt of your request and does not constitute acceptance of your order. The legally binding contract between us is formed only when we physically dispatch your books and send a formal dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch due to sudden stock shortages or website pricing errors.

3. Shipping & Delivery

• Rates: We charge postage and packaging on our titles. Orders for books totaling over £80 qualify for free UK delivery. Shipping charges for unique artworks vary; please contact us directly via email for specific quotes.
• Carriers & Timeframes: Domestic orders take 1 to 5 days via Royal Mail or courier, depending on order size and options selected at checkout.
• International Shipping: We ship worldwide via Royal Mail International Tracking, with estimated delivery windows of 5 to 10 days.
• Loss or Damage in Transit: Little Toller Books assumes legal responsibility for the safe transit of your items. If an order fails to arrive or if your books arrive damaged, please notify us immediately at books@littletoller.co.uk so we can issue a replacement copy and report the issue to the delivery carrier.

4. Returns & Refunds

• Statutory Right (Change of Mind): In accordance with UK distance selling laws, you have a 14-day cooling-off window to notify us if you wish to return a book for a change of mind, plus an additional 14 days to post it back. Books must be returned in their original, resalable condition. The customer covers return postage for change-of-mind returns.
• Our 30-Day Policy (Damaged/Incorrect Goods): If you are unhappy with your purchase because it arrived damaged or the incorrect title was sent, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days for a no-quibble full refund or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act. In this scenario, we will fully cover or reimburse your return postage costs.

Little Toller Books Ltd owns or licenses all content, design layouts, graphics, and original literary pieces published within The Clearing. You may not copy, scrape, or commercially reuse any written text or media assets from this site without our express, prior written consent. Automated data scraping or utilizing unauthorized inventory-scanning bots to crawl our catalogue is strictly prohibited.

6. Bookshops, Wholesale & Trade Distribution
