Description
Benjamin Myers is a prize-winning author and journalist, whose work has been translated into several languages. His books include The Offing (2019), The Gallows Pole, Beastings, Pig Iron and Under the Rock, as well as the ‘folk-crime’ novels Turning Blue and These Darkening Days. A forthcoming project is his introduction to Little Toller’s nature classic, Millstone Grit by Glyn Hughes – a poet’s walk through the dales of West Yorkshire. Ben lives in the Upper Calder Valley, West Yorkshire.
Bluemoose Books is a prize-winning publisher of literary fiction. Based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, it was founded in 2006 by Kevin and Hetha Duffy. Innovative and brave, like Little Toller, they may not have the heft of a London publisher, but like us, have gathered together a family of readers who are passionate about the written word and the transformative power of stories.

Great cause and a great read. Amazing how many details can be put into a short story, isn’t it? So many things to discover and think about. I’ll definitely read this again and again. Highly recommend buying this story!
