The Nature Classics series is the backbone of Little Toller Books and where our publishing story began almost twenty years ago. Our ambition was simple: to bring some of the finest writing about nature, landscape and place back into print, making forgotten classics available to a new generation of readers.

Today, with over thirty titles in the series and more published every year, the collection continues to grow, bringing together celebrated works and rediscovered treasures, each beautifully produced as a paperback with French flaps, new cover artwork, original first-edition illustrations and specially commissioned introductions by celebrated writers, poets and artists.
