Ridge and Furrow by Neil Sentance
‘Neil Sentance writes about his native Lincolnshire riverlands with the blend of toughness and tenderness that readers who know England’s working country will recognise as a defining characteristic.’ Richard Benson, author of The Farm and The Valley
In his haunting debut Water and Sky, published in 2014, Neil Sentance explored the history of his family and the landscape which shaped them. Ridge & Furrow continues Neil’s project to chart in prose the voices of a seldom recorded people and place in twentieth century Lincolnshire’s flatlands, and beyond.
