A Venetian Bestiary by Jan Morris

Of all the cities that Jan Morris knew well, it was Venice that held a special place in her heart, a place she knew intimately and wrote about with great passion. In A Venetian Bestiary she explores the animals – real, imaginary and artistic – which haunt the city of floating dreams. A beautiful little book, fully illustrated, with a new introduction by the acclaimed journalist and author Sophy Roberts.
