As well as publishing books, Little Toller has recently opened a bookshop in Beaminster, West Dorset. Alongside our own titles, we have curated a wonderful range of books for readers of all ages that celebrate the very best writing about the natural world, farming, rural life and the environment. We also have books published by other independent presses, and the full range of Dovecote Press titles, specialising in Dorset’s geography, geology, natural history and culture. With constantly changing window displays and new books arriving all the time you’re sure find something to tempt you.

We’re open Tuesday to Saturday.

Our range is curated around the books that we’re most passionate about – new and classic writing about nature, place, landscape, culture and ecology. We also stock a range of new books, fiction and non fiction, and we’re very proud of our children’s section. We change the window displays regularly and we can order ANY BOOK that’s in print in the UK, for no extra charge, and often delivery is within a few days.
